Meet McKrae Spencer

Sales Associate of Pioneer Floor Coverings & Design Cedar City Location.

McKrae Spencer has been helping customers with their flooring projects for nearly five years, bringing a hands-on understanding of the industry and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Before moving into flooring sales, McKrae spent time working alongside Pioneer Floor Coverings' installation teams, learning the installation process firsthand. From installing tile and luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring to understanding the details that make a quality installation, this experience gave him valuable insight that continues to benefit the customers he serves today.

Having worked directly with installers before transitioning into sales, McKrae understands flooring from both the technical and customer perspectives. He enjoys helping homeowners and contractors find products that fit their style, budget, and lifestyle while ensuring they have the information needed to make confident decisions. His practical knowledge allows him to answer questions, anticipate challenges, and guide customers through every step of the flooring process.

A lifelong Southern Utah resident, McKrae has built strong connections throughout the region. Growing up, he participated in athletics with schools across Southern Utah and was active in FFA, where he developed an appreciation for hard work, agriculture, and community involvement. Those experiences helped shape the values he brings to both his personal and professional life.

Today, McKrae continues to enjoy being involved in the community through slow-pitch softball, golf, and the friendships he has built over the years. He appreciates the opportunity to connect with people throughout Cedar City and surrounding communities, both on and off the job. Building relationships is one of his favorite parts of working at Pioneer, and he enjoys helping customers turn their vision for their homes into reality.

Outside of work, McKrae enjoys spending time with his wife, whether it's fishing on the lake, hunting in the mountains, or simply enjoying everything Southern Utah has to offer. When he's not outdoors, you'll often find him in the garage tackling his latest restoration or mechanical project. From rebuilding trucks and motorcycles to working on boats and three-wheelers, he enjoys taking things apart, figuring out how they work, and bringing them back to life.

Known for his approachable personality, hands-on experience, and commitment to helping others, McKrae takes pride in making every flooring project a positive experience. His practical knowledge, local roots, and dedication to customer service make him a trusted member of the Pioneer Floor Coverings team.
